KHC Special Guest

What a special day at KHC today. Our VIP guest Mr Jack Wyman who was Kurt’s first ever boss at United Bodybuilders in Rushden back in 1981 visited KHC.
It was our privilege to have him here and for Kurt to show Jack round both of our sites and speak to former employees of Jacks that are now working here at KHC. Kurt thanked Jack for helping him on the bodybuilding ladder all them years ago.
Jack retired back in 1985, 35 years ago! Jack is now 100 years old.

Today Kurt Completed our 5000th Quotation, the quotation was for Richard Stevens at Brian Currie who coincidentally happened to be who Kurt wrote up our very 1st quote for !

Team Kurt Hobbs completes the Great North Run

September 2017 saw Kurt and his team of 17 people complete the Great North Run and raise thousands for the Anthony Nolan Trust. EN12642-XL European Standard

An area that hauliers are regularly getting pulled up on and fined by the DVSA is for inadequate load restraint. Curtainside bodywork in particular that isn't rated to EN12642-XL are not allowed to use load restraint that incorporates a ridge pole or tracks built into the vehicle roof. The load must be restrained to the body floor ideally via the V-Groove side rave from one side to the other. Click to read more....

Kurt Hobbs Coachworks paints Mustang Plane

Congratulations to John Gammidge for winning the best kit build in LAA magazine, John received the RAA Canada trophy for his achievement and we at KHC are privileged to have painted the Mustang aircraft. Awards ceremony was held on Saturday 22nd October at Sywell Aerodrome, Northamptonshire.

Kingsley Hobbs wins Student of the Year Award 2016

Whilst working full time at Kurt Hobbs Coachworks, Kingsley Hobbs has successfully completed a Business Administration course via Tresham College. Along side his hard work and determination, Kingsley has been recognised as Business Apprentice of the Year and has been invited to attend the awards evening at Tresham College where he will receive his award. We would like to congratulate Kingsley for his commitment and look forward to more of our apprentices following in his footsteps.

Recent Trip Chicago

Kurt Hobbs recently visited LDV in Chicargo. LDV supply Kurt Hobbs Coachworks with the internal racking and components for the Snap-on vehicles in the UK. KHC work closely with LDV on design and fitting for the bespoke Snap-on vehicles. Kurt Hobbs Coachworks are also UK agents for the supply of LDV/ Snap-on components.
